To make a claim, simply open the Naked app and let Jade, our claims bot, walk you through the process. It's quick and straightforward. Jade might even approve your claim on the spot for certain cases. And if you're facing an emergency, you can also call for help directly through the app—just tap the '!' or '?' button for immediate assistance.
Can I be sure that Naked will pay my claims?
Absolutely. Naked is a fully authorised Financial Services Provider, backed by Hollard Insurance Company and a solid network of international reinsurers. This setup ensures we've got the means to cover your claims, even in the face of major events like hailstorms or wildfires.
How will my claim be paid?
It varies with the nature of your claim. Depending on what you're claiming for, we might settle in cash, vouchers, or by replacing the item with something similar. In some cases, we'll arrange for a professional repair by covering the costs directly.
What do I need to submit when I claim?
The smoother your claim, the faster the process. Initially, uploading as much documentation and information as possible, especially during the pre-inspection selfie phase, helps us speed things along. For higher-value claims, we'll ask for proof of purchase to confirm ownership. For claims involving cell phones, for instance, you'll need to provide proof of blacklisting from your network provider, indicated by an ITC number.
Does Naked have any additional excesses?
No, we like to keep things simple and transparent. There are no hidden or additional excesses across any of our products. The excess amount you've chosen is the only amount you'll need to contribute in the event of a claim.
