One of the organisations benefiting from the Naked Difference is Christel House SA, which is working hard to break the cycle of poverty in Cape Town. Greenpop, with the help of this year’s Naked Difference payment, is focusing on its Forests For Life programme. This initiative is dedicated to restoring ecosystems by planting trees, ensuring a healthier planet and a more sustainable future for future generations.
Last year’s payment helped U-turn to expand into Johannesburg. With the support of the Naked Difference this year, they can continue to provide rehabilitation and skills training programmes that help individuals move off the streets and into permanent employment.
Animal welfare is another important cause supported by the Naked Difference. Oscars Arc is committed to finding loving homes for shelter dogs and is using this year’s contribution to keep their pop-up adoption stations running.
Door of Hope cares for abandoned and orphaned babies, offering them a safe and nurturing environment. With the Naked Difference’s support, they can continue offering essential care like nappies and formula to abandoned and orphaned babies.
